As the ‘Rangasthalam’ unit is preparing for a grand pre-release event in Vizag RK Beach on March 18, producers Ravishankar & Naveen along with director Sukumar held a press meet today in Hyderabad.
While the interaction between the media & the unit was in progress, a journalist asked Sukumar about ‘Rangamma Mangamma’ song controversy. Mr Ramulu Yadav, President of Yadav community demanded to remove the word ‘Gollabhama’ from the song ‘Rangamma Managamma’. He said that the women in their community will hurt by that particular word.
Replying to the journalist, Sukumar said, “Gollabhama means Grasshopper, people shouldn’t derive different meaning for no reason”. Chandrabose is the lyricist and Devi Sri Prasad has composed music for Rangasthalam.
